Long Point Common Area
Rental Application

Rules:

  1. Your party date must be applied for at least 15 days prior to the event by completing and submitting this form. You will be notified that approval has been granted or denied by email.

  2. Children attending the party are not allowed on the floating or fixed docks.

  3. The area is to be left in a neat and clean condition. All trash must be taken out to LP trash bins in the parking lot. If the trash bins are full, you cannot leave trash outside of the bins. You must take trash with you. The cost of any special cleanup required following the event will be charged to the Member Sponsor.

  4. The cost of any repairs to or replacement of LPPOA property damaged during the event will be charged to the Member Sponsor.

  5. The Member Sponsor is required to reserve and pay for one (1) special lifeguard for each 20 (or fraction thereof) people expected to swim at a pool party. The lifeguard on regular duty during party hours is NOT to be counted as a special lifeguard.

  6. Private Party only. No outside organizations are allowed to attend. LPPOA is a private facility and must not be open to the public for liability. You cannot prop the gate open.

Fees:

  1. You can reserve exclusive use of the pool pavilion for a fee of $150.00 for 2 hours (summer months May - August) and four hours (winter months Sept. - April). In addition to the rental fee, a deposit check in the amount of $75.00 must be turned into the gate house at the time of reservation. If the facility is left in clean and neat condition and all of the trash is taken out, the deposit check will be returned to you.

  2. The cost of Special Lifeguards is present $25.00 per hour for each lifeguard.

  3. Minimum Special Lifeguard fee will be based on 2 hours for each lifeguard. Payments should be made to the Long Point POA and must be dropped off at the gate house one week prior to your event.

  4. All events are subject to cancellation due to bad weather conditions.

  5. Rescheduling of an event must be done by submitting a new application form.
